We are looking for a Paid Media Specialist to take ownership of our Paid Social service, to work with our Social Media Team and SEO Manager to evolve this part of our business which has huge potential.

As a Paid Media Specialist at VetsDigital, you will be responsible for ensuring paid media projects are successfully planned and executed and will be expected to contribute towards the continuous improvement of our paid social strategy.

More specifically you will:

  • Advise, plan, manage, implement and analyse campaigns across key paid social channels, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Assist the SEO Manager in running Paid Search and Organic accounts.
  • Optimise and develop new and existing campaigns for our clients.
  • Oversee and manage client budgets for Paid Social.
  • Work in line with our client’s business objectives.
  • Analyse, report on and maximise paid social performance.
  • Test landing pages, creative and retargeting campaigns.
  • Maintain solid relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns in line with paid social and search efforts.
  • Work closely with and supporting the wider Social Media, Content and SEO Teams, working closely with the Head of Digital Services to develop our Paid Social service
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies
  • Report and communicate to key stakeholders
  • Other tasks and responsibilities supporting the wider agency as directed by your Line Manager

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience managing paid social and paid search projects
  • Experience of pet ownership or working within the veterinary industry is desirable but not essential
  • Previous agency experience is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in communicating with clients
  • Ability to analyse and understand data to make informed decisions
  • Hands-on experience and managing social media platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager
  • Experience with copywriting and building successful ads that drive conversions.
  • Some experience in e-commerce strategies and implementation.
  • Ability to manage many different tasks and meet deadlines consistently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Person Specification:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is proactive and able to identify opportunities to improve our current paid social offering
  • Is forward-thinking – we want you to drive ideas to keep our Paid Social and PPC services ahead of our competitors
  • Can become an expert in best practice and know the current best way to deliver Paid Social for our veterinary practices and industry clients
  • Has great organisational skills, can manage multiple projects and milestones as well as supporting multiple teams.
  • Enjoys writing exciting copy that converts and can build basic graphics for Ads
  • Has superb communication skills and can confidently liaise with clients and provide regular campaign updates and recommendations to Account Managers and Head of Digital Services.
  • Can be one of our digital experts – To have the passion and knowledge of digital to professionally represent VetsDigital
  • Will be a central role in the agency to drive forward our Paid Social Media service forward

Contract terms
Permanent (following a successful 3-month probation period); 37.5 hours per week

Start date: ASAP

Location: Home-based with regular team meetings in Whiteley.

Salary from: £24,000
