About Newton Clarke Vets

Newton Clarke Vets have two medium-sized practices located in Yeovil and Sherborne, Somerset. This proudly independent practice has visiting specialists to provide an extra level of service to their clients.

The Challenge:

Local competition, especially from corporate vets, meant that the team needed to increase their visibility and connections within the local community. Due to the lack of time and in-house resources to create content and manage their Facebook page, they were struggling to maintain their presence on social media.

Newton Clarke Vets wanted to be seen as the local source of trusted pet advice and wanted bespoke content to support their aims.

The results

In October 2017, the Facebook page had 602 likes, since taking over the page now has 2104 likes (as at March 2019), that’s a 250% increase in likes in less than 18 months.

The impact of this growth in likes can be seen in the reach and engagement figures.

In Q3 2017, reach was at 28,335, in Q3 2018 it increased to 196,354, and engagement rose from 1,162 to 11,930 across the same time period

What the client says...

“As a busy practice we know the importance of having a strong social media presence in our local community, but we just didn’t have the time or in-house expertise to manage it effectively. Sarah and the team have been great to work with, they really understand our objectives and our brand. By helping us create bespoke content and engaging with pet owners on our page, they have delivered some fantastic Facebook marketing results for us. Sarah even supported us with a recent successful evening Facebook Live Q&A session. I would recommend VetsDigital to any business seeking veterinary expert digital marketing support”

— Matt Saunders, BVetMed MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon and Director.
