A Good Online Reputation – Does It really Matter?

We host online reviews as part of our directory package, but do online reviews actually aid business growth?

Your Online Reputation – Why it Matters

As part of the listings in our vethelpdirect.com directory we host practice reviews and read each one (for defamatory text) before publishing. Recently the following review was left by a vet’s client:

New to the area in May, and having bought my first puppy, I searched on line for a local vet. I gave myself a choice of 3 and decided on the one with the best reviews and who were friendliest on the telephone – a decision I am so pleased I made! All staff without exception have been kind, sensitive, helpful and have made me feel confident with my new addition!

I would absolutely recommend [name of vet practice] unequivocally!

We think this review demonstrates perfectly why positive online reviews (and a good online reputation across Google/Facebook/Twitter) are so important; it is now becoming the first steps to a new client walking through your door!

Online Reviews – Where to Start

If you already have a listing on our directory vethelpdirect.com, then you have reviewing functionality as standard. Build up client reviews by embedding our widget onto your website so you can easily direct clients to leave you a review (contact us for your free widget code). Add links to your listing in a Facebook post and get all those people that ‘like’ you on Facebook to rave about your practice in a review. Make leaflets to hand out to clients when they come into practice. And don’t forget to just ask clients!

If you haven’t yet signed up for a listing on our directory, you can read more information about it on this page of our website: www.evetmarketing.com
A listing costs just £15 +VAT per month and includes a listing in VetHelpDirect.com, an enhanced listing in Any-UK-Vet.co.uk (soon to be re-launched with a new design) and the reviewing functionality including a widget on your own website so it’s easy to direct clients to leave a review.
