Best UK Vets, 2013. Owner’s Choice.
Vet reviews are an important part of a Vet Help Direct directory listing and to show you their incredible worth we are excited to announce our new award for the Best UK Veterinary Practice of 2013, as voted for BY YOUR CLIENTS! The winner will be announced at the end of January so you have almost the whole month to build reviews for your best chance of winning.

How to Win
The winning practice will simply be the most well reviewed practice according to our directory; it couldn’t be simpler! We will work out the practice with the best reviews using this formula: number of reviews x average star rating
The practice with the highest number will be awarded Best UK Vet, 2013.
As a company, our aim is to market veterinary practices online and ensure that clients turn to you online as well as off. We are seeing more and more people turn to online reviews to help them choose services they use.
By winning our award you will you have built up a spectacular collection of reviews from happy, loyal clients. And as the winner we will ensure that news of your achievement gets publicised in your local press; helping your Google ranking and raising awareness of your practice within the local community.
As well as all that, we are giving the winning practice a team night out up to the value of £250 as a well done to all the hard working members of staff that have been so well reviewed!
How to Build up Your Reviews
All reviews are hosted on your directory listing to ensure third party trust. You can either send clients to your listing, send clients to your website by taking advantage of our free review widget for websites, or send clients to your Facebook page by letting us build you links within your page (there is an additional £40+VAT one off cost for this service).
If you would like your free widget code so you can direct clients easily to your website, please let us know (by replying to this email) and we will happily provide it to you or your web developer.
Once you have decided where to direct people to leave a review, you need to start promoting the feature to existing clients. Great methods for this are:
Word of mouth! Just let people know at reception or after consultations.
Your Facebook page. Your Facebook page is full of people who like you, take advantage of this connection and ask them on Facebook. Make it easy by providing links.
Create a poster for your waiting room. Make it simple enough and people can review you while they’re waiting!
Create a notice by reception. Anything to build awareness.
Make cards. Hand them out with appointment slips or receipts.
Email campaigns. Add some info on your reviews to your next email campaign (remember to include links).
