About Hampton Park Vets
Hampton Park Vets is a small group of three practices located across Hampshire and Wiltshire. They offer a number of services, such as neutering, puppy & kitten care, vaccinations, euthanasia, dentistry and a number of further specialisms such as alternative treatments (laser / PRP / Stem Cell).
The Challenge
The challenge they faced was not knowing which marketing activities were most effective at increasing new client acquisition and new bookings.
They wanted to implement a new campaign that could be specifically measured and the ROI could be closely monitored.
What we did/ do:
Online Ads
Google ads were selected because of their effectiveness and ability to be tracked throughout the prospecting journey. The ads were created and the targeting was managed by our in-house Google Ads accredited specialist.
Effective targeting
Relevant keywords were identified based around puppy and kitten packages and the services they included such as: puppy/kitten vaccination, microchipping and parasite treatments etc. Targeting parameters around location and device type.
Ad optimisation
The online ads were monitored and optimised regularly, tweaking content based on the best performing.
For example, we changed headlines from ‘Save Money on your…’ to something more specific to ‘Save 50% on…’.
Tracking
Clicks on the ad were tracked to conversions on the landing pages
The Landing Pages
When clicking on an ad the call-to-action took the prospect to one of two dedicated landing pages. These pages contained calls to action including an online booking link to VetStoria and a clickable tracked telephone number.
Live Chat Support
On the website, we also provide Live Chat, so if prospective clients had any questions about the packages, they could ask and instantly receive a response. Improving the overall experience and impact of the campaign.
The Results
Before VetsDigital began work on this promotion, Hampton Park gained an average 24 conversions per month, then after VetsDigital launched the digital marketing campaign, the conversions rose to an average of 71 per month.
An increase of 195% compared to the previous period.
Plus, if you look at the return on investment on the potential lifetime value of these puppy and kitten owners (estimated at £3k), this campaign has a potential ROI of 695%.
